ILOILO City – In a significant crackdown on illegal drug activities, a joint operation by law enforcement agencies in Iloilo City resulted in the apprehension of an individual identified as a high-value drug suspect.
Alias “Ricardo,” 47, a tricycle driver, was found in possession of P455,600 worth of suspected shabu and a homemade firearm with ammunition.
He is reportedly on the list of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council and was a tokhang surrenderee.
The arrest took place around 9 p.m. on Monday, March 11 in Barangay Tanza Esperanza, City Proper.
The arrested individual is currently under the custody of Police Station 1 pending further legal proceedings./PN
