Iloilo City, Passi City jins bag 31 golds in Capiz taekwondo tilt

TAEKWONDO jins from the cities of Iloilo and Passi have clinched medals during the 3rd Capiztahan Taekwondo Championships over the weekend at the Robinson’s Place in Roxas City, Capiz.

Taekwondo jins from Mark Victoriano Pinggol Taekwondo stable finished runner up behind A. Diasnes Taekwondo Gym after capturing a total of 29 medals – 18 golds, nine silver and two bronze medals.

Winning gold medals in poomsae were Shanen Anica Feranco, Justin Apura, Geon Ivan Dulaca and the trio of Feranco, Apura and Magno, while taking silvers were Enzo Lucio Cape and Jannah Velez and Amelia Carla Victoria and Elysa Magno bagged bronze.

Taking golds in kyorugi were Jethro Bobadilla, Elysa Nichole Magno, Louwee Jaye Sualog, Giovanni Sualog, Anna Francesca Cordova, Jj Smith Tenefrancia, Kate Sheevanie Santocildes, Sheine Nicole De Asis, Enzo Lucio Cape, Kyna Gemarino, Janna Lucelle Ledesma, Ryan Magbitang, Angela Bermejo and Glaiza Faye Cordero.

Bagging silver medals were Khyla Sernal, Neljane Beljira, Christian Pudadera, Amelia Carla Victoria, Quinn Jimenez and Rafael Pico, while Ninia Acosta clinched a bronze.

Taekwondo Association of Passi City, on the other hand, took home 19 medals in the kyorugi event of the competition, 13 golds and six silver medals.

Winning golds for Passinhons were Allamelech Jannu Palmares, Leigh Yvaine Cia, John Raymart Palec, Aljon Jerald Palomo, Lexim Jeus Dorigo, Florante John Mabalot III, Jant Ron Dionio, Linmuel Dion Ines, Alejandro Rafael Flores, Kendrick Paclibar, Nureen Joy Mangaoang, Princess Nefertiri Jane Prado and Princess Nathalie Jean Prado.

Bagging silver medals were Angel Alaiza Palomo, John Philip Palomo, Alliah Rae Palomaria, Leif Padernal, Tristan Ramon Gabriel Orozco and JM Cedrick Palmares./PN
