ILOILO City – This city will play another important economic role in the country’s future by hosting the National Conference of Independent Business Organizations (NCIBO) on Nov. 11. The conference will gather the largest and most important business organizations in the country to discuss various critical issues.
Iloilo Business Club (IBC) executive director Lea Lara said the conference will tackle issues on rising power costs, regional business concerns, agricultural sector, business competitiveness in the Philippines and the direction of the current administration, among others.
Additionally, policy suggestions from the 11 participating business organizations will also be raised.
Expected speakers for the conference include senior vice president Dr. Bernardo Villegas of the University of Asia and the Pacific, Undersecretary Alfonso G. Cusi, and secretary Ramon M. Lopez of the Department of Trade and Industry, among others.
The event is organized by the IBC and the Makati Business Club, which are two of the 11 business organizations affiliated with the NCIBO./PN
