Iloilo will send a trade mission for an upcoming trade fair in Guam.

According to Iloilo Provincial Tourism officer Bombette Marin, the delegates will leave on Sept. 10, though the event itself will start on Sept. 12 and end on Sept. 16.

Marin also explained that the trade mission will consist of around 23 persons, and will include government officials, tourism officers, government officials and private sector leaders from all over the region.  

Once they have arrived at Guam, the delegates will participate in various trade fair related activities, while simultaneously promoting Iloilo’s products at their designated booths. 

“We will promote our respective provinces. May ara kami eight minutes given nga mag present about Iloilo and a preview about the province, and then after that, our DA representative – Department of Agriculture – will also equip us with mga programs sang Iloilo government. Ano ang mga initiatives nila sa ila nga side – investment opportunities,” Marin added.  

Additionally, Marin also explained that local realtors and representatives of the SM group of companies will join the delegation. And later on, some of the delegates will provide their hosts with a cultural presentation to promote locally made Iloilo products./PN
