ARNIS players from Iloilo City showed their dominance in the Dinagyang Bastonero 2018 at the SM City Iloilo Activity Center in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

ChedrickJamayo of Leganes Arnis Team captured three gold medals in junior boys’ full contact anyo, individual solo baston and individual doble baston. He also had a bronze in boys’espada y daga.

JochellePangcobilla, on the other hand, captured two golds in junior girls’ individual solo baston and espada y daga. She also had a bronze medal in full contact bantamweight.

Other gold medal winners in the juniors division were VanissaHablado, Jade Enerian, John Pelaez, Joseph Artillo, Kurth Jay Artillero, Kim Magsalay, Kayla Progalidad, Joanna Mae Arancillo, Josa Victoriano, Roselle de Leon, and Nicole Tondo.

Winning silver medals were Magsalay, Rhoanne Cleo Vilamil, Shane Marie Gregore, France Cuenco, AndroManicang, Warren Nagdal, Ashly Jude Magcanam, Marcel Judicta, CrisJeosAsuelo, Jian Ricci Vectoriano, AicyllEbron, KanielaJaneo, Talitha Morales, and Shyne Erica Gallentes.

The following were bronze medalists in the Jan. 26 to 28 contest that was part of the Dinagyang Festival: Hablado, Cuenco, John Paul Leonidas, Jade Enerlao, Aireen Joy Dela Cruz, Kurth Cabrillos, Jarl Lopez, John Loyd Zamora, Zay Vanne Dalisay, Jasmin Buta, FussieBation, Enzee Colen Patriarca, and Mira Luna Sapine.

In Batang Pinoy division, Tristan Michael Guarte captured two gold medals in boys’ individual doble baston and espada y daga, while Wyne Keith Gustillo also captured two golds in individual solo baston and espada y daga.

Also winning goldsin this division were Lyster Agustin, Tristan Michael Guarte, JeavanSusal, Julianne Marie Oberes, Jeronne Abillo, Prince Araw-Araw, Princes Lara Bibania, and Ella Divinagracia.

Silver medalists were Guarte, Krizzan Emm Gulac, Joshua Duero, Sarah Marie Abregana, Sarah Marie Abrigana, Von Calvin Delgado, Joe Andy Pineda, Rayver Josh Poseo, Marianne Grace Morales, Sydney Bertiz, and Guen Marie Almanon.

Gulac, LordzianverTumanbing, Julianne Marie Oberos, Jeanrie Lozada, Justine Lawrence Ortiz, Jaymar Arillo, Jaybe Barrientos, Angel Marie Lintico,Joefe Cabus, and Leanne Uyanib won bronze./PN
