ILOILO City – An improvised gun with ammunitions were seized in a house raid in Barangay San Jose, Lemery, Iloilo.
The Lemery police found the weapons in 56-year-old Calistro Baban’s house around 7 a.m. on Oct. 24.
The policemen staged the house raid on the strength of a search warrant.
Recoveries from Baban’s possession were a 12-gauge shotgun and 12 live bullets.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Lemery police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against him./PN
