I NEVER thought I’d enjoy social media as much as I would.
In the beginning, I used social media to keep up with my friends.
But now, it has served my advocacies very well.
***
The key to great social media engagement is awesome sound bytes.
And as a writer, I live to craft beautiful ordered words.
I keep them short, but witty.
I try to be original.
If I see or read an interesting idea, but worded terribly, I always try to come up with a better version of it.
Thus, I am remembered for my “immortal words.”
***
Interesting phrasing is my gift.
Interesting use of language is my specialty.
I would normally prefer to use English for my witticisms, but I am also aware of my audience and readership on social media; so I often indulge them in Filipino, or Tagalog, or whatever you call it.
***
For my words to be truly immortal in this century of virtual celebrity, I have, of course, to be bigger than life.
And so, I have fashioned myself to be bigger, grander on social media.
I know it makes me sound or look so intimidating; but in real life, the intimidation is all in the imagination of people.
As my closest friends would attest, I am the kindest and most accommodating of the truly wealthy people they know. Haha!
***
In social media, I am quick to call the stupids stupid, because I’m sure they can’t call me the same.
They will never approach my level of education, wealth, experience, intelligence, wisdom, and savvy.
If they research a little about me, they would know that they’re just maggots on top of cow shit.
So, I go on sh*tposting, and I have a ball of doing it.

“Mabuti rin ‘yang ninu-normalize ninyo ang katangahan ninyo sa election.
It can explain why I’m VERY, very, very, NERY smart.” —#ThePSN

“YOLO, yes!
But u also die once.
Plus u vote once, but u could suffer 6 years, or 20 years, like in a dictatorship.” —#ThePSN

“OK lang na magnanakaw ang idol mo.
Who knows, maging magnanakaw din ang anak at mga kapamilya mo bukas.
Harinawa?” —#ThePSN

Occasionally, I give good vibes posts to inspire those people working hard on the ground.
And mind you, everything I post is based on facts.
Based on reports, based on real life situations.
Maybe it’s told with a slant, but it is true nonetheless.
That’s why I remain strong, blameless, and, in a word… invincible!

“I love the way the Pink campaign is growing.
Either they’ve reached out to the grassroots, or they’ve converted some of the LBMs!” —#ThePSN

It’s a difficult Pink campaign in Dumangas, Iloilo. Maraming boto ang mabibili ng pera.
Kilala ninyo kung sino ang namimili.
(Don’t correct me on this coz I know exactly what I’m talking about.
Kayo ang assh*le, hindi ako!)
***
Pero I have faith in my people.
Kung hindi bobo ang taga-Dumangas, they’ll demand P5,000 from the vote-buyers… AND STILL VOTE FOR Leni-Kiko.
***
Puede naman kasing tanggapin lang ang P3,000… AND FEEL BETRAYED.
More reason to vote for Leni-Kiko.
‘Wag maniwala na malalaman nila kung sino ang ibinoto n’yo.
Ano sila, Comelec din? Haha!
***
Yes, trapos, I just increased the vote buying rate.
Sino ngayon ang mas tuso? Haha! —#ThePSN

That post was published with photos of the Pink People’s Volunteers Center that were sent to me by the Pink Brigade Dumangas.

I see Ukraine and Russia.
I see Hitler and the Jews.
When I say that the 2022 national/presidential elections is crucial, I mean that democracy as we know it in the Philippines can end.
***
Democracy is not the rule of the stupid mob.
Democracy must serve the greater/common good, not the greed of certain families eager to clean up their soiled names, and revise our country’s history.
And so, I speak of taking sides.
And so, I choose not to be apolitical.
And so, I choose to be the smart and intelligent Filipino that people know and expect me to be.

“If u are not voting PINK, u are picking the WRONG side of history.
U will forever be marked wrong.
Sorry, that’s just how it is.” —#ThePSN

“May tama at maling pagpili.
May bulag at mulat na pagboto.
Kung di mo pa alam kung bakit Pink ang tama, bobo ka nga.” —#ThePSN (To be continued)/PN
