ILOILO City – Misunderstanding and drunkenness led to a fight between three family members in Barangay Dulonan, Arevalo district.
Kim Bryan Sorria, 25, was talking to his cousin Michael, 20, outside his house when a heated argument ensued.
Michael punched Kim Bryan and stabbed him using a piece of a broken glass bottle, police said.
Upon seeing the commotion, Michael’s father Jeffrey, 39, helped his son in attacking his nephew, police said.
All three were drunk during the incident around 5 p.m. on May 18, police said.
Officers brought Kim Bryan to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.
Michael and Jeffrey were arrested and detained at the Arevalo police station./PN
