ILOILO – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) arrested 57 wanted persons and seized 51 unlicensed firearms in one week or from Aug. 15 to 21.
“Nangin madinalag-on ang Birada Semana bangud sang pinasangkad nga mobilization sang force multipliers ilabi na sa Barangay Intelligence Network (BIN),” said Colonel Adrian Acollador, IPPO director.
He urged his men to sustain the campaign against loose firearms, wanted persons and Illegal drugs.
“We need to be more alert especially now that students and teachers have returned to school. Let us keep them safe,” Acollador added.
He also reiterated his instruction to all police chiefs not to leave their police station unmanned, and to be always wary of people entering police station./PN
