IPPO nets P27-M worth of illegal drugs

ILOILO – In its crackdown on illicit narcotics, the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) has made significant seizures amounting to more than P27 million.

The IPPO’s anti-drug operations from January 1 to March 19 yielded a total confiscation of 4,025.84 grams of shabu, with a street value of P27,375,700.10.

The intensive operations led to the apprehension of 120 drug suspects, including 25 individuals classified as high-value targets. These arrests were the culmination of 91 operations meticulously executed.

Colonel Ronaldo Palomo, IPPO director, commended the dedication and sacrifices of the officers involved, as well as the invaluable support from the local community.

He emphasized the collaborative effort required to achieve such significant milestones in the fight against drug proliferation.
