ILOILO – A total of 391.69 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately P2,663,492 were seized across the province during the weeklong police operations from July 1 to 7.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) also arrested 18 drug suspects, four of whom were identified as high-value targets, in 14 anti-illegal drug buy-bust operations.
Colonel Bayani M. Razalan, officer-in-charge of the IPPO, lauded the commanders of the operating units for the efforts in leading these operations.
He also recognized the hard work and dedication of all Ilonggo cops as well as the support and cooperation of the Ilonggo community.
“We owe these accomplishments to everyone in the community who supports our efforts. We shall continue working together towards a safer, more secure, progressive, and drug-free Iloilo Province,” Razalan said./PN
