PEOPLE, we’ve been had. We’re barking up the wrong tree. We have been fooled and misled from an issue that is affecting the whole country.
This issue is a national crisis of epic proportions yet we completely missed it if not for some brave, nationalistic truly Filipinos in the mould of Jose Rizal and Andres Bonifacio who picked up a relatively obscure news item in the entertainment section and bring it to the national consciousness.
These brave souls, no, heroes, are worthy of all the awards in the world: Medal of Honor, Medal of Valor, sainthood, the Oscar, the Palanca award, Miss Photogenic, and Best in Swimsuit.
And these modern-day heroes, the Graciano Lopez-Jaena of the modern era, are: Pia Ranada and Maria Ressa of that blog site Rappler, Raisa Robles, the Philippine Daily Inquirer and the ever loyal “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon”, including all the wannabes and social climbers.
For the past weeks we have been talking about that faux pas committed by then President Noynoy Aquino and his motley crew wherein 700,000 Filipino schoolchildren were sentenced to an inadvertent genocide.
This genocide is courtesy of the Department of Health or DOH headed then by Secretary Janette Garin. They vaccinated these 700,000 Filipino schoolchildren with that experimental drug Dengvaxia making them strongly susceptible to a severe and fatal form of dengue.
Besides making these children as unwitting guinea pigs for vaccine manufacturer Sanofi Pasteur, Noynoy Aquino paid them a whooping P3.5 billion which is 1,000 percent overpriced.
We all thought that this is it, this is the crime of the century, and little did we know that just a few days ago something happened that would make using 700,000 Filipino schoolchildren as guinea pigs by vaccinating them with an overpriced experimental drug look like a misdemeanour akin to a minor traffic violation.
And what is this national crisis of epic proportion?
From GMA News Online, Dec. 15 and 16 reports:
Isabelle Duterte princess-like in debutante photo shoot in Malacañang
Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte’s daughter Isabelle had a ball of a time on Thursday as she turned Malacañang into a real palace, walking the halls looking every bit a princess.
Isabelle is Paolo’s first child with his ex-wife Lovelie Sangkola Sumera and rarely makes it to the headlines despite her family’s current prominence in society.
The shoot, managed by Rita Neri Event Planners and stylist Jeff Galang, was in preparation for #BELLEssima18 or Isabelle’s debutante ball. The President’s first granddaughter is expected to have a grand celebration on her birthday, Jan. 26.
Isabelle Duterte’s pre-debut Malacañang photo shoot trends on Twitter
Twitter was abuzz yesterday, Dec. 15, after pre-debut photos of first granddaughter Isabelle Duterte circulated online.
Isabelle is the daughter of Davao City vice mayor Paolo Duterte with ex-wife Lovelie Sangkola Sumera.
The royal-like photo shoot was a hot topic online. It even landed on the top trending topics in Twitter Philippines.
Several netizens criticized Isabelle for doing the photo shoot inside the Palace.
***
Que horror! Que barbaridad! President Rodrigo Duterte’s granddaughter dare have a photo shot in Malacañang Palace; this is the worst crime committed since Ninoy Aquino was supposedly assassinated.
How dare this Isabelle Duterte have a photo shot in Malacañang when she’s not even an Aquino?
Why, just the cost of the electricity used in doing this photo shoot is enough to feed the hungry children in Forbes Park and Ayala Alabang.
Quickly people, research more about this Isabelle Duterte; we don’t want to appear like Noynoy Aquino who seems to be fully unaware of what went on during the six years of his presidency.
Really, who cares about those 700,000 Filipino schoolchildren vaccinated with that experimental drug Dengvaxia? “Buhay pa naman sila.”
This photo shoot in Malacañang of Isabelle Duterte can create a constitutional crisis, a national calamity of epic proportion and should immediately be investigated by the Senate and Congress with full media coverage.
And speaking of Senate investigation, to erase all doubts that this hullabaloo about Isabelle Duterte’s photo shot in Malacañang is just to divert attention from the Dengvaxia scandal, the Senate investigation should be conducted by Sen. Antonio Trillanes with only senators Bam Aquino, Franklin Drilon, Rissa Hontiveros, and Kiko Pangilinan allowed to attend together with ABS-CBN, Philippine Daily Inquirer and Rappler.
The Marawi Siege is nothing compared to the photo shot in Malacañang of Isabelle Duterte. Why, Isabelle’s photo shot is a far deadlier threat to national security than that invasion by ISIS terrorists.
Where are you, Vice President Leni Robredo, when the whole nation needs you to say something stupid about Isabelle Duterte’s photo shot in Malacañang?
Moi supposes that these 700,000 Filipino schoolchildren vaccinated with that experimental drug Dengvaxia will eventually contract the severe and fatal form of Dengue and die. Meanwhile a lot of “devotees to the cult of the yellow ribbon” are dead or dying from envy with Isabelle Duterte’s photo shot in Malacañang. (brotherlouie16@gmail.com)/PN
