BACOLOD City – “It’s the right time.”
These were the words of Mayor Andrew Montelibano of Murcia, Negros Occidental after announcing that he is getting married.
Montelibano made this announcement yesterday at the town’s covered court.
Montelibano, 43, will be marrying the 22-year-old Charmaine Hernandez of Taguig City, Metro Manila.
“It’s time to take another step in life,” he said.
Hernandez is an accountant who graduated from the University of Makati. She also joins beauty pageants and had recently represented Taguig in the Miss Philippines Earth.
The couple said the wedding will be on March 10 next year at the L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.
“Kon nakita mo na ang insakto sa imo, amo na ina siya,” said the mayor.
Montelibano and Hernandez met in February through a common friend.
Montelibano is now on his last term as mayor. He has yet to decide on what position will he be running in the next election./PN
