ILOILO City – For allegedly attacking a traffic enforcer, a jeepney driver from Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district was arrested, a police report showed.

Traffic auxiliary Daren Von Lee, 24, warned Randy Fabillon, 42, who was driving a Jaro CPU jeepney, against stopping over a pedestrian lane but the latter ignored him, the former told the police.

Fabillon then yelled at Lee, saying, “Gago kag mango ka klase auxiliary, wala mo ginaubra ang imo obligasyon, ako lang ginabantayan mo,” the traffic enforcer told the police.

Fabillon charged at Lee, punching the latter several times as they grappled, the traffic enforcer said.

Lee sustained bruises on the face as a result.

The incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 18 on Iznart Street, City Proper, the police report stated./PN
