MANILA – President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. has urged the public to join the discussion in the traffic summit this Wednesday, April 10, at the FilOil EcoOil Center in San Juan City.
In a YouTube vlog, the Chief Executive invited the public to share their suggestions on how to improve the traffic situation through the comment section of the said event.
“Makilahok din kayo kahit sa comments section para malaman namin ang iba niyong mga idea at mga naiisip ninyo,” President Marcos said during his six-minute video.
Marcos stated that, while long-term infrastructure projects are underway, the government is still looking to provide commuters and motorists immediate relief from traffic congestion.
He added that the concerned government agencies and local government units are expected to discuss in detail the steps to be taken that would address the perennial traffic woes during the summit.
President Marcos has also asked the public for understanding as large-scale infrastructure projects take time to be completed, saying that it will have a good result in the long run.
The Chief Executive also appealed to the commuters and motorists to observe discipline and obey traffic laws.
