ILOILO City – His fellow villager did not find his joke funny.
A 28-year-old resident of Barangay Boulevard, Molo district complained to the police that he was punched.
Ian Lester Lopez said they were talking and joking around at the barangay gymnasium when Romeo Casten, 48, suddenly punched him, a police report showed.
Lopez sustained lacerations on the eyebrow and nose.
Casten fled after the incident at around 11 a.m. on Sept. 24, police said.
Police were letting the barangay lupon handle the case./PN
