JONA had an opportunity of sharing the stage with American singer-songwriter Michael Bolton during his show in Manila on Nov. 22.
On Instagram, Jona said she feels “grateful” to have been given a chance to sing “How Am I Supposed To Live Without You,” one of Michael Bolton’s most iconic hits, with the legendary artist himself.
“I really didn’t know how to contain myself last Friday night, knowing I’m singing with the music legend himself, Michael Bolton.” she wrote.
She also dedicated her performance to her late dad, Fernando Viray, whom she revealed is a huge fan of Michael Bolton.
“I know for sure I made my father proud and happy. He’d be extremely glad to see you too in person and hear you live, if only he’s still around, because he’s a huge fan of yours.” she added to her post.
Jona’s performance with Michael Bolton was part of a telco’s “Pasasalamat Night” held at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Jona’s dad passed away in 2017 due to rapid growth of fungus inside his head. (Push)
