Frailties of a woman, my foot!
I WAS IN a quandary whether to write this topic for my column or another one, you see I just had lunch.
Yes, we are going to talk about a fat, old and ugly bitch wasting taxpayers’ money pretending to be a senator. And just the thought of Sen. Leila de Lima makes my stomach turn that induces me to puke. I just had a nice spinach and cheese calzone washed down with chilled apple juice and it would be a shame for it to go to waste just because of a fat, old and ugly bitch.
Frailties of a woman, my foot indeed! She used the gender card, used the jaundiced bishops and the gullible media who are really just looking for any issues to use against President Rodrigo Duterte. Now she’s a sultry vamp that was seduced by Ronnie Dayan.
Just to make things clear, let’s define “frailties”. The root word is “frailty” and it means “the condition of being weak and delicate, weakness in character and morals.” I don’t think Leila de Lima is delicate and to say that she is totally destroys the very essence of the word. I would say she is weak in character and morals.
The issue has always been her involvement in illegal drugs, her being a narcopolitician and it has nothing to do with her being gay, lesbian, a woman or a guy with a hole in the middle. She played her role of being an oppressed woman to the hilt yet never answered the issue of her being involved in the illegal drugs trade during her watch as Secretary of Justice.
Well, that’s not to say it didn’t work as there were gullible, trendy social climbers who wanted to be relevant that supported her; I guess they also shag their drivers. Considering most of them are way way pass their prime, their husbands are out there running after “daisies” so what else is there to do but to be one with Leila de Lima, and that includes shagging the driver.
That Leila de Lima just had to do a “Kris Aquino.” I am not surprised that she chose to do it in the TV program of Winnie Monsod. After all, Winnie Monsod is yellow down to her knickers. When she tried to justify her shagging Ronnie Dayan by saying it’s because of her frailties as a woman, she insulted the whole of womanhood. And let me tell you why. She is the Secretary of Justice and Ronnie Dayan is her driver; it simply means that she way up there while the driver is way down there. She holds ascendency over Ronnie Dayan; she is the boss. Now she’s making it appear that the driver seduced her and being a delicate woman she gave in. Now I’m afraid I might puke.
This figment of her imagination is a perverted version of “Beauty and the Beast” as directed by Tim Burton. The Tim Burton version would probably be titled “The Beast shags the Driver.” This is not a frail delicate woman giving in but a powerful boss having her way with the subordinate; a classic case of sexual harassment.
Of course, Winnie Monsod tried to make Leila de Lima appear wholesome and that the whole sordid affair was like a “giggling teenage crush”, nothing unpleasant about it, no illegal drugs trade, and a sweet love affair given malice by President Rodrigo Duterte. Good God, now I’m going to puke.
If Ronnie Dayan was having coffee in Starbucks and Leila de Lima walks in not as his boss or the Secretary of Justice, would he give her a second look, much less even notice her? Maybe some people would ask, “Who is that fat ugly middle-aged woman wearing a scarf in the middle of a tropical country”?
And that, folks, is Leila de Lima whose picture in a bathing suit that made the front-page of national newspapers and also went viral made a lot of grown men look away in sheer horror./PN
