BACOLOD City – He was found dead floating in a river in Purok Tangko, Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 64-year-old Amador Magbanua of Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City drowned, police said.
His body was found at around 12 p.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
Magbanua’s daughter Amabelle de la Paz said her father had a nervous breakdown. She added that the victim frequently leaves their house.
Police ruled out foul play in Magbanua’s death.
