AKLAN – An ex-prisoner was back in jail for possessing illegal drugs.
The 51-year-old Layden Desbaro, a resident of Sampaguita Street Extension, Barangay Andagao, Kalibo town, was nabbed in a buy-bust operation on Saturday afternoon, May 25.
Officers of the Kalibo police station confiscated 19 plastic sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P38,000.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Kalibo police station and is set to face charges under Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
