ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Jereos, La Paz was stabbed at the district public plaza.
The 17-year-old Michael Mondejar sustained a stab wound on the back.
He was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
Police identified Richard Jeruta, 17, of Barangay MacArthur, also in La Paz as a suspect in the attack around 11:45 p.m. on May 23.
Officers were still searching for the suspect as of this writing./PN
