ILOILO City – What did he do to get assaulted like that?
Roseo Eulalio of Barangay Tabuc Suba reported Richie Blanca of Barangay Gustilo to the police for allegedly attacking him.
Eulalio, 51, said he was talking to a friend at a trisikad terminal in Barangay Gustilo at around 8 a.m. on Monday when Blanca punched him on the left face and ran away.
Some 30 minutes later, Eulalio was on his way home on board a mountain bike when Blanca hurled an empty beer bottle at him, the complainant told the police.
While he was not hit, the bottle-throwing caused him to accidentally hit a trisikad and get injured on the left foot, said Eulalio.
Police referred Eulalio to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro and the case to the barangay lupon./PN
