ILOILO City – A laborer died after he got electrocuted in Barangay Sto. Niño, Arevalo district.
He was identified as 29-year-old Ian Mendiola, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Mendiola – resident of Barangay Pali, Mandurriao district – was reportedly repairing a house on Tuesday when he accidentally touched an exposed live wire.
Mendiola was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center, also in Mandurriao district.
He eventually succumbed to burns on his body.
