ILOILO City – A laborer was arrested in Barangay Mapili Grande, Badiangan, Iloilo for violating the election gun ban.
A village councilman and several watchmen caught the 40-year-old Marcelo Carbonera of Barangay Botong, Badiangan carrying a .38-caliber revolver loaded with a live bullet around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Carbonera was then turned over to the police.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the Badiangan municipal police station and charged for violating the election ban./PN
