ILOILO City – In Barangay Bitaogan, Passi City, Iloilo, a laborer was stabbed dead.
Resident Christopher Lapating died of stab wound on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as 76-year-old Rolando Morata, a neighbor.
According to police investigators, Lapating was inside his house when Morata stabbed him on Sept. 9.
The motive in the incident was not immediately established.
Police officers conducted a manhunt operation against Morata, who fled after the incident./PN
