GUIMARAS – A 23-year-old laborer listed as the second most wanted fugitive in this island province was arrested by police operatives serving warrants for two counts of sexual assault on October 5.
Alias “Joshua” was apprehended at around 3:12 p.m. in Sitio Anino, Barangay Espinosa, Jordan town by joint elements of the Jordan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Guimaras Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit, Guimaras Provincial Mobile Force Platoon, and Regional Intelligence Unit 6-Provincial Intelligence Team Guimaras
The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest issued on September 30, 2026 by presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 65 in Jordan, Guimaras. Bail was set at P120,000 for each count.
Following his arrest, the suspect was brought to the custodial facility of the Jordan MPS for documentation and legal processing.
Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) director Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño commended the operating units and emphasized that intelligence-driven coordination remains vital in tracking down high-ranking fugitives.
