ILOILO City – A 54-year-old resident of Barangay Alalasan, Lapuz district complained to the police that her nephew threatened to stab her.
Maria Flores Brao was attending to her granddaughter around 2 p.m. on Sunday when she learned that Jaugan Rodriguez took her dog that was tied to their front door, a police report showed.
Brao told him to return the dog. Rodriguez, who was drunk, got annoyed and left.
A few minutes later, he went back armed with a knife and told Brao, “Bun-on ta ka (I will stab you),” the police report stated.
Brao rushed inside her house for safety. Police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
