KALIBO, Aklan — A man was found dead in a river in Barangay Can-awan, Libacao, Aklan.
Federico Sapico, 40, was a village resident. He was last seen alive gathering firewood in a hilly area near a river a few meters way from his house.
Sapico’s family believed he had a sudden attack of epilepsy, fell into the river and drowned.
What happened was an accident, they said, and decided not to subject Sapico’s body to an autopsy./PN
