AKLAN — The Malay Municipal Police Station (MPS) has been recognized as the Best Class A Municipal Police Station in the entire Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) during the recent PNP Day Celebration held at Camp Martin Teofilo B. Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City.

The award was conferred in recognition of the station’s effective crime prevention and suppression efforts, as well as its consistent maintenance of peace and order and public safety, particularly in the municipality of Malay and the world-renowned Boracay Island.

Under the leadership of Police Lieutenant Colonel Alain Terence L. Licdan, the Malay MPS was cited for upholding the principles of professionalism, integrity, and dedicated public service, which contributed to its outstanding operational performance.

Officials said the recognition affirms the reliability and commitment of the Malay police force in delivering quality police service and ensuring the safety and security of both residents and visitors.

The achievement underscores the Philippine National Police’s continuing efforts to strengthen community trust and improve law enforcement services across Western Visayas./PN
