ILOILO City – Bumping into a woman led to an unexpected assault of a man in Barangay North Baluarte, Molo district.
Mark David Pendon accidentally bumped into villager Pearly Bermeho while walking on a footbridge in North Baluarte, a police report showed.
A few moments later, married couple Jimmy and Japhet Jagolino, residents of the same barangay, charged at him, the report stated.
Pendon sustained an abrasion on the face. He was confused as to why the Jagolinos mauled him, police said.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Sept. 16. The Jagolinos cannot be reached for comment as of this writing./PN
