ILOG, Negros Occidental – Operating elements of the Ilog municipal police station arrested in Barangay Dancalan here a man charged with homicide.
Around 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 19, the 31-year-old Anthony Ubay Jr. was served with an arrest warrant.
He was accused of killing Zandro Villamor and wounding Raymundo Remus, both construction workers at KM 110, Barangay Dancalan.
According to the police, the crime happened on April 14, 2018 around 10 p.m. The three had a heated argument during a drinking binge.
Villamor sustained multiple stab wounds and died instantaneously while Remus sustained a wound on his left palm.
The case filed against Ubay was bailable, fixed at P120,000. It was unclear as this was being written if he was able to secure temporary liberty.
After his arrest, Ubay was taken to the Ilog police station./PN
