ILOILO City – A man was arrested yesterday in his house in Barangay San Diego, Lemery, Iloilo.
Melvin Castillo was charged with violence against women and children (VAWC), according to the police.
The 47-year-old suspect was served with an arrest warrant around 11 a.m. then taken to the Lemery police station.
A P72,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
