ILOILO City – Police arrested a resident of Barangay Bagongon, Concepcion, Iloilo for possession of an unlicensed firearm.
The 75-year-old Ernesto Ascura was charged with violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Officers served him an arrest warrant issued by Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court Branch 66. Amador set the bail at P100,000.
Ascura was detained at the Concepcion police station after his arrest around 10 a.m. on July 14./PN
