ILOILO City – A man accused of domestic violence was caught in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Panit-an, Capiz.
The 35-year-old Ronnie de Leon of Barangay Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo was arrested around 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 14. He was taken to the Panit-an police station.
According to the police, de Leon had been hiding at a relative’s house.
Judge Victorino Maniba of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 27 issued the suspect’s arrest warrant.
De Leon was charged with violating Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004)./PN
