BACOLOD City – A man faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004.
Joffer Ortega, 43, of Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was arrested around 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 1.
Judge Gwendolyn Jimenea of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 60 recommended a P90,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
