ILOILO City – Police arrested a man in Barangay Poblacion, Banate, Iloilo after he failed to attend a court hearing.
The 38-year-old resident Edmar Salvadico was served a bench warrant around 4 p.m. on Sept. 11, a police report showed.
Salvadico faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9287, or an act increasing penalties for illegal numbers games, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the Banate municipal police station’s custodial facility./PN
