ILOILO City – Police arrested a man for physically assaulting a neighbor in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao district on Friday, Sept. 3.
Forty-year-old Joemar Cagud was accused of punching Joanie Espora, 32, over a missing chicken.
Espora said around 8:30 p.m. while buying food, the suspect approached him and accused of stealing his chicken.
The suspect then hit him multiple times, prompting the victim to call the police.
Cagus was arrested and taken to the Mandurriao police station./PN
