ANTIQUE – Officers of the Barbaza Municipal Police Station (MPS) apprehended a man engaging in illegal fishing in Barangay Magtulis, Barbaza town in this province.
Rodel Samillano, 21, and a resident of the aforementioned barangay, was caught in the act using an improvised electrical fishing rod around 2:49 p.m. on Monday, July 22.
Barbaza police seized the fishing rod worth P400 and around 25 meters of electrical wire worth P750.
The suspect was detained at the Barbaza MPS./PN
