ANTIQUE – A tricycle driver and his two passengers landed in a hospital after they were hit by a van around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23, in Barangay Lapaz, Tibiao town.
The 61-year-old Armando Jurilla, a resident of the town’s Barangay Importante, and passengers Winnie Maquiling, 42, and Jennyvelle Anus, 26, both residents of Barangay Pitac, were brought to Culasi District Hospital.
Tibiao police said the tricycle, heading to Culasi town, was about to make a U-turn when a van suddenly collided with it.
The van’s driver, Nicolas Cosme, 59 years old, of Tibiao’s Barangay Martinez, was taken into custody by the Tibiao police station for proper disposition./PN
