ILOILO City – A 23-year-old man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Zone 10, Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district.
Five sachets of suspected shabu were seized from Jericho Ocampo, a police report showed.
Ocampo, a son of a retired police officer, was caught after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs for P5,500, the report added.
Operatives of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit staged the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of the suspect around 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Ocampo was detained. He faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
