BACOLOD City – A man was shot dead at corner San Sebastian-Araneta streets.

He was the 30-year-old Salvador “George” Poja Jr. of Barangay Singcang-Airport, a police report showed.

Poja, a credit collector who moonlights as a zumba instructor at the capitol lagoon every weekend, sustained a gunshot wound on the head and died on the spot, police said.

It was around 8:21 a.m. on Monday when two suspects riding in tandem fired at Poja, who was walking along the street on his way to work, the report stated.

Officers from Police Station 1 were still identifying the suspects and the motive in the shooting./PN
