BACOLOD City – A 25-year-old man was stabbed at a mall in Barangay Singcang-Airport.
Peter Lopez of Barangay Pahanocoy sustained stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as a certain “Jake Javier.”
According to the police, Javier stabbed Lopez and took the latter’s Toyota Hi-lux around 7 p.m. on July 28.
Lopez was brought to the Riverside Medical Center in this city for treatment.
Meanwhile, the vehicle was recovered at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish Church in Barangay Alijis, police said.
It was not immediately established what caused the stabbing.
Police officers conducted a manhunt operation against Javier, who fled after the incident./PN
