BACOLOD City – Never touch other people’s things without their permission.
Marlon Cordova, a resident of Barangay Simborio, Pamplona town, Negros Oriental was stabbed to death after he cut his neighbor’s banana plant without the latter’s permission.
Police identified the suspect as Maximelian Ramirez Bual, 48.
Prior to the stabbing, police said Bual confronted the victim for cutting his banana plant. A heated argument then ensued.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, the suspect barged into the house of Cordova and stabbed him on the stomach.
Cordova was rushed to the nearest hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Bual is still at large as of this writing./PN
