ILOILO City – A construction worker was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Fernando Parcon Ward, Pototan, Iloilo.
Seven large sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P245,000 were seized from the 32-year-old Ron Jether Jardinil, a police report showed.
Jardinil – a resident of the town’s Barangay Dapitan – sold a sachet of the suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P12,000 around 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 7.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Pototan police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
