Manapla fire leaves P45-M damage

BACOLOD City – Properties estimated to be worth P45 million went up in smoke after fire charred a public market in Manapla, Negros Occidental.

The fire gutted 58 stalls around 3:20 a.m. on Friday, fire investigators said.

According to initial investigation, the blaze started from a coffee stall inside the market.

Firefighters from Victorias City, Negros Occidental helped in putting out the fire.

It was not immediately clear what time the Bureau of Fire Protection declared a “fire out.”/PN
