Manapla woman yields ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Five sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a woman in Barangay Punta Mesa, Manapla, Negros Occidental, police said.

The suspected drugs were valued at around P3,000, said municipal police head Senior Inspector Julius Caesar Colado.

Colado identified the woman as Barangay Punta Mesa resident Helen Villanueva.

Villanueva was caught after she sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500 on Thursday night.

She is included in the drug watch list of the municipal police.

Villanueva was detained in the lockup cell of the Manapla police station.

She was facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
