ILOILO City – It’s not shabu this time.
Two residents of Sitio Paraiso, Barangay Cubay, Jaro district were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The 18-year-old Brix Getalaga and the 21-year-old Ella Khim Sensorio were selling suspected marijuana, a police report showed.
Undercover operatives from the Drug Enforcement Team of the Jaro police station bought from the two suspected dried marijuana leaves wrapped in newspaper for P300.
They further recovered from Getalaga’s house a big plastic pack containing crushed dried leaves believed to be marijuana, the report stated.
Getalaga and Sensorio were detained at the Jaro police station after their arrest around 10 p.m. on Aug. 10./PN
