ILOILO City – Three men ended up behind bars following a commotion at Andok’s restaurant on Huervana Street, La Paz district.
The officer-in-charge of the restaurant, Rodenille Ferber, had the following suspects arrested by the police:
* Jomer Sanches, 24, of Barangay Pasi, San Dionisio, Iloilo
* Mark Lester Lugsanay, 24, of Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz, and
* Jhon Pestaño, 33, of Barangay Gustilo, La Paz.
The commotion erupted around 2 a.m. on Dec. 16. Ferber said the men were binge drinking on separate tables.
Suddenly, Lugsanay smashed two bottles of beer and a drinking glass on the ground, said Ferber.
Taking cue from Lugsanay, Sanches did the same to his bottle of beer.
For still unclear reasons, Pestaño suddenly attacked Lugsanay and Sanches. More bottles of beer and drinking glasses were smashed.
The brawl upset other customers of the restaurant. Ferber sought the police’s help.
A total of eight bottles of beer worth P480 were broken, and six drinking glasses valued at P1,200./PN
