BACOLOD City – A 58-year-old resident of Sitio Cadiacap A, Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental hacked her siblings around 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 2.
Estelita Nabaja Lastimoso was suffering from a mental disorder, according to the Kabankalan City police. Cops arrested and detained her.
Lastimoso’s victims were her 72-year-old widowed sister Elisa Nabaja Tabujara and 35-yar-old brother Herman Pantajo Nabaja, a farmer.
Tabujara died while being rushed to the Kabankalan District Hospital. She had fatal hack wounds on the head, back and right shoulder.
Nabaja survived the hacking. He was taken to the same hospital for treatment.
Police said Lastimoso had been under medication for her mental disorder these past five years./PN
