ROXAS City – Barangay Milibili qualified as the region’s representative to the national Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards for the component city category.
In a letter dated March 16 that Barangay Milibili village chief Midelo Ocampo received, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) regional director Anthony Nuyda informed him about the nomination.
The nomination came after the result of a March 9 evaluation, declaring Barangay Milibili the 2018 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards Regional Winner for Component City Category.
Barangay Milibili is set to receive a plaque and a P50,000 development fund during the regional awarding ceremony in October, the letter stated.

The evaluation team was composed of DILG Region 6 officials Ildefonso Orquejo Jr. and Darelle Thea Abad, Atty. Marie Yvette Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 37, Liga ng mga Barangay regional president Dindo John Lignig, Absalom Bacuyani (RPCO), Alvin Astronomia (CSO), Benedicto Aquillo from the Mediators Networks Iloilo Caucus of Development, Therese Mae Auman (DILG-Capiz), and Jose Aurelio Roldan (DILG-Roxas City)./PN
